AlternaTIFF Updates

The current version of the AlternaTIFF ActiveX control and plug-in is 2.0.8, released 2015-05-22.

If you're using Internet Explorer, it may be best to restart your browser immediately before attempting to upgrade. It will not cause serious problems if you fail to do this, but in some circumstances Internet Explorer may tell you to reboot your computer in order to complete the upgrade.
If you registered a previous version of AlternaTIFF, you will not need to re-register after you install the update.
You do not need to uninstall your current version of AlternaTIFF before installing the update. Any previous versions will be cleanly overwritten.
If you do not wish to install this update, AlternaTIFF may continue to notify you periodically that an updated version is available. To turn this off, right-click on AlternaTIFF, choose More Settings from the menu, then uncheck Automatically check for new versions if it is checked.
